Hearthstar was inspired by painted barn quilts, popular in the Midwest and Appalachia.  This is the perfect pattern to bring the history of American barn quilts to fabric form!

I designed and drafted this pattern (my first in a series of big-block, barn quilt-inspired patterns) to be easy enough for beginners to easily create a beautiful quilt of their own. The instructions include five sizes: Baby, Throw, Twin, Full, Queen.
